2014 DTE GArden

Year after year at our Westland Community Garden) is highly successful. The dedicated volunteers worked many long, hard hours that resulted in a total harvest of 8,120 lbs, wow!!!  The Westland garden is consistently the most productive garden of the year. Congratulations to all who volunteer, especially the core group of dedicated volunteers who came out every week.   All of the DTE Energy Farm gardens provide over 20,000 lbs. of produce every year that are distributed  to our partners at Gleaner’s Community Foodbank to help feed the needy throughout the metro Detroit area.
